Ming Hua would like to say a huge thank you to all of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui parishes that supported the College so generously on Theological Education Sunday.
More than HK$600,000 was raised through collections in churches and cathedrals on the day.
The money will be used to help the College continue with its mission of training postulants to serve in local parishes and promoting theological education among the laity.
Ming Hua Principal Dr Gareth Jones said: “I would like to extend my warmest thanks to members of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui for supporting the College so generously.
“Ming Hua is your College and we are always delighted to welcome new members of the Church to come and study with us to learn more about their faith.
“From attending the occasional lecture through to studying for a Bachelor or Master of Theology, we really do have something for everyone.”
The College has developed a range of programmes to cater for people at all levels.
Our new Diploma programme aims to give people a foundation in the key areas of Anglicanism, biblical studies, church history, systematic theology and practical theology.
For those who want to study in more depth, we also offer a Bachelor of Theology and a Master of Theology in partnership with Charles Sturt University.
In the future, we plan to offer programmes in religious education and church ministry, as well as a range of doctorates.
By next year, we will have graduated more than 500 students, and we look forward to serving many more members of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui.
